  20. I'm curious if anyone else has tried to reach the ftp site dedicated to 
  21. Lightwave.  The site is located at tomahawk.welch.jhu.edu. I've tried using 
  22. my ftp software and the Netscape browser to get to the site - both of which 
  23. gave widely different results.  My ftp software (SLIP access) connected to 
  24. the server, but spent 25 minutes or more displaying the opening description 
  25. of the archive - then unceremoniously dumped my connection.  When I tried 
  26. Netscape it took 25 minutes to contact the server and "show" me the home 
  27. page, even without autoloading images.  Once connected I was able to see a 
  28. list of the services the site offered.  When I selected recent uploads I did 
  29. see a list of 20 or so files; but when I selected the \pub\lw directory 
  30. where the other files are located, I was once again only able to see the one 
  31. page description the ftp site.

  33. Anyone else have this problem?  I'd also like to know if the site has 
  34. anything worthwhile. I'd hate to burn up all of my online time just waiting 
  35. for my software to connect to a server, or worse trying to download files.
